Medit-plants archives? (was Philosophical Q)

This reminds me of something I've been meaning to ask for a long time. I
marvel daily at the selfless and knowledgeable information which keeps
pouring into Medit-plants. Is the accumulated wisdom of this list
archived online anywhere? If so - Where? If not - Why?  

The features of "free" commercial list providers, such as egroups.com,
has recently been debated on this list. I enjoy the add-free environment
of Medit-plants as it is, but I have to admit that egroups offers some
pretty nifty options, including keyword searchable archives.
