Well......i grow everything in sand here (my town was built upon chapparal
stabilized sand dunes). You might already have the few i suggest, but i
always liked the yellow flowered bush lupines (Lupinus arboreus). I've
seen some very healthy and beautiful ones at Aņo Nuevo state beach,
growing in pure sand. I also like Abronia latifolia and A.
umbellata...Sunset says both are great for stabilizing sand, and look
quite nice....i suppose with a little more water than they naturally get,
they'd be a bit lusher than i usually see them. Both are pretty common in
the restored dunes around the Monterey Bay.
