At Ranch 99 (an Asian grocery chain) I purchased a vial of
PANDAN, KOEKOE-KOEPOE(r) Screwpine Flavored Paste. I have
heard and I don't remember where that it is used for
flavoring rice. It is an intensely green (artificially
colored) thick liquid with a very pleasant sweetish musky
smell. I have yet to use it, but will someday if I ever get
around to cooking rice.
