Hi Barry
Can't help you about this cultivar, but I gather you were also asking
generally about actually growing T speciosissima. I have never tried it
mself, as it is marginally hardy in my area, but I gather its main
demand is for _perfect_ drainage in full sun or light shade. However
this must also be coupled with adequate watering until it is well
established and it requires a mulch of leafmould in summer to ensure a
cool rootrun.. Definitely one of the fussy ones!! (But well worth the
bother, I should say)
