This wonderful kale is sold at most Bay Area farmers' markets as well as
specialty greengrocers. Seeds are available from most "gourmet" seed seller
like Kitchen Garden Seeds, Renee's, Shepherds, Territorial, etc. It grows
well in our mild winters and tastes best during cool weather.
    In France this kale, other kale varieties, colorful chards, fennel, etc.
are often grown among flowers in municipal  bedding areas.
