Dahias

Here in Greece in the field around the corner from me is a large commercial section of Dahlias. They are beautiful. I believe the tubers are left in the ground all year. They grow them in rows with wire holding up both sides of each row and use drip irrigation.  I grow a few in the garden but I do not have whole season success as they seem to get diseases before I get around to do anything about it. The tubers come back every Spring.
