Horticulture in Carmel area?

I am giving a talk in April in Carmel about the plants in my book Wildly Successful Plants: Northern California, and have been asked to try to let the horticultural community in that area know about it. However, I don't, at the moment, know much about the horticultural community there. Can anyone tell me about garden clubs, plant groups, or other groups in Carmel, Pacific Grove, Monterey or nearby that I should know about?
