Re: Chilopsis linearis and cultivars


Personally, from photos I've seen, I think the seed pods look interesting and give a neat "ghostliness" to the plant. Similar to how the seed pods of Catalpa make the tree look festooned, or how the dried inflorescences give Lyonothamnus interest (my opinion, of course). I'd probably plant it especially for that reason, but grow a ground cover underneath to catch whatever falls.
