Charles,

If you can remember your age you are still doing well, you have always been very alert
so I would not worry about losing your memory.
It sure is a lot of money the she pours into the restoration of those planes, whenever
I have had a peek inside there are always at least three guys inside doing their thing.
She gets very good write-ups from the newspapers and the like so this must all help
in its own way.

Reaching the Millennium : I have no doubt that you will reach it and go over it, now
how many people can boast about that now days, you are a winner and always have been !

Remember you not that long ago took up a craft and had the time of your life, not sure
if you ever put the image on a plate but that was good going even though you were a little
younger., from memory the only trouble you had was the reverse direction of the prop.

Your emails are very clear so your thought pattern is still perfect.

Thank you also for saying hello.

Peter.

I know you enjoy aircraft photos and history, but here is something you equally enjoy., a little photo from last year caught at the Botanical Gardens in Melbourne, they had an area
high above the gardens which has always been called the " volcano ", the actual volcano was man made and years ago stored water for gravity feed to the gardens., it has been bought
back to life for the same purpose and has a multitude of plant life planted around its perimeter, this was just one that I caught due to its color.., not sure of its name except to say
that most of the species around the perimeter are cacti.

Hello !

I'm pleased you haven't forgotten me.

My memory is very bad nowadays (I'm 91).

But I certainly remember Judy Pay and he hangar.

By all means say hello to her.

I don't know how she does what she does. Sounds like a lot money to me.

That was a nice visit and was arranged somehow by my son-in-law.

I am pleased that you wrote because my wife is worried that I will collapse on the bus or walk in front of a truck and doesn't let me go anywhere if she doesn't take me in the car.

I think she is over-reacting but she tries very hard to see that I reach the millennium with a smile on my face.

Thank you for saying hello. --Chas---

Hello Charles,

Its been a long time since we corresponded, but hoping you are well.
I pass by Judy Pay's hangar's ( now two ) once in a while but need to
do this on a week day rather than the weekend and if I catch her I will
say hello from you, I am sure she will remember your name plus your
visit many years ago.
The whole place that she has looks excellent, I passed by two weeks ago
and the hangar she has built directly behind the one you were in had the
door open and sporting a very nice red plane - sure it was old but it was
just a glimpse so could not tell.

The airport down there ( next to Judy Pay's property ) is having an air
show early next year, so I am sure some of her planes will be up for this
event.
Hope your son-in-law is enjoying California, I knew they were staying
with you from an earlier email, wow., that goes back awhile - I must
write you more often.

Good to hear from you Charles !.

Regards,
Peter.

Two photos below - The one below taken in the Tyabb airport ( 2013 ) looking up at the hangar with the strip on the R/H side, both look like tiger moths to me, but you will fully know.
<Photo 1, planes just off the Tyabb strip.jpg>

And one taken in the hangar you know so well ( 2012 ), managed to get this one on a weekend with permission., from what I could gather from the lads it is a German make although did not spot it
again when I was in there again in 2013, she may have put it in the new hangar behind the one on Tyabb Road. Its a german Fieseler Fi-156 D Storch which lands on a dime - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDcB0pSUYOI

More on this site although small images - http://planespot.com/old_aeroplane_company_tyabb/index.html

Cheers - Peter.

Hello to all on list,

Some of you I contact on a regular basis, and some once in a blue moon.

You are all in America, that's the main reason for sending you this as it gives
a very good look at the Australian bush as well as the current weather
within New South Wales, the movie on this link shows a few losses but also
shows some of the old railroad bridges still in use today. The State above
Victoria where I live, is New South Wales where they have been having very
early bush fires., normally our season for these is January and February both
being in the middle of Summer.

If you enjoy there is no need to email me back as the load of emails as
you all know gets a little hard to handle, its easier to leave a short message
in the Subject field such as " I enjoyed ".

Hoping you all enjoy!.

Regards,
Peter.

( Lithgow lies in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales and is considered
a small bush town even though having a City status, this small link gives one
a look - http://goo.gl/maps/SmmsP
And for the people who enjoy seeing a railroad turntable that is still in use
this link takes you there - http://goo.gl/maps/vlB7d )
