Late c20 Victorian Gardens
A quick line to cheer Susan George's description of her gardening
'style' - ie,
I am trying to develop a workable blend of 'tropical'
looking plants and more traditional perennials and shrubs (a kind of
late twentieth century version of a 'Victorian' garden).
It's lways reassuring to discover that there are others out there
quite as crazed as yourself - and, what's more, crazed in the same
way/pointing in the same direction!
And to add that I'm sure Dave Poole's friend, Paul Spracklin, didn't
intend any sort of UK ENTRY ONLY sign to go up on his new list -
merely that its focus is intended to be on 'exotic' gardening in a UK
climate rather than in a (strictly speaking) 'Mediterranean' one. If
folks outside the UK find it useful, too, then so much the better, I'd
have thought - and I've little doubt Paul thinks the same.
