Garden Design Mag.

At last!
I got a copy of the October issue of Garden Design Mag. and quickly
turned to the spread on the American Academy in Rome. Alessandra, you
may have disappointed in the pictures, but the garden looks wonderful!
The article mentioned what it was like when you started, and I can only
imagine what alot of work you must have put to get it to the place it is
now. You are to be commended. (And to think those "ivory tower"
botanists turned down your volunteer help at the Hanbury Gardens; how
short sighted!)

The Academy garden looks enchanting; serene and interesting at the same
time. I'm so glad I got to see just a bit of it. Maybe someday, I'll be
able to apply to see it all, and for real. I urge all Medit-planters to
get a copy of the magazine and have a look.
