Depends what you mean by 'cold' of course but though INLAND Sussex is
no doubt colder than here by the Solway, despite our few hundred miles
more northerliness, it isn't THAT much colder... And as to rain:
you're not in the competition! Wettest place in England is only a few
miles inland from here and it gets between 160 and 190 INCHES of rain
a year. We're not that wet but we are [seriously] wet.

I.e., I'm sure the courage will be justified.
