Importing Plants

Thanks to everyone who replied to my cry for help with the confusing
material I received from the US Dept. of Agriculture.  Fortunately this
morning I received from the foreign nursery clear, concise,
step-by-step instructions on the process and what to expect, from their
end and my end, what to do with my import permit, the green/yellow labels,
etc.  Exactly what I wanted and needed to know.  I'm going to recommend to
the USDA that they at least include such instructions with the material
they do provide.  All the rules and regulations in the world don't amount
to a hill of beans if you can't figure out how they are to be applied.
It may seem strange I did not mention consulting with the local
bureaucracy, as many recommended.  Howsomever, that's another story......
