May I highly recommend Beth Chatto's Gravel Garden,
which is her latest and very interesting book. She has created a garden on her
asphalt-covered parking lot at the nursery. It is not watered. Preparation and
mulch are keys. Her plant list, while hardly a Med one, is fascinating. And the
look of the garden? Spectacular.
I tried to find a secret hose but couldn't. It is full of
ideas for Med plant people.
