gopher-proof

For the past 37 years the beds I created for all kinds of plants have not had any problems with gophers. Before I lost so much I nearly gave up. I dug four trenches, 4ft deep and 6 ftx20ft. I lined them with aviary wire, far stronger that chicken wire (now sold as poultry wire) that disintegrates over time. Haven't lost a plant in these areas since. bill grant, central coast California
