Dear Diane,
I don't have Ballerina but the Vintage Gardens' Catalogue indicates 'no
scent.' Because of Robin's note re the signature musk scent I looked up
Ballerina in Botanica's Roses and it's classified as a modern shrub with
parentage unknown; however, Peter Beals in Classic Roses has it listed as a
hybrid musk. The Vintage Gardens' Catalogue indicates that they group some
roses not strictly hybrid musks with the hybrid musks which may be the case
with Ballerina.
