Re: Hand-held clippers

Here at the garden we have the same problem. During the summer we hire
seasonals who need to use various tools. We learned, after much trial, that
the best pair for them is not the most expensive. They loose them, and they
are sometimes abusive. I purchase nice by-pass pruners for the crew, but
for the seasonals we use hand-me-downs or other pruners we purchase at a
local irrigation store. While they are rather inexpensive, about $6 or $8,
they work well and most have made it through 2 seasons. I recently
purchased a pair of pruners at Home Depot for my wife to use here when she
volunteers and I think I paid $8. They are rather nice too.
