Poison Oak Redux

Growing up in LA in the 1930s, I was a member of the L.A.County Museum stamp club. We met on Saturday mornings in the basement. Upstairs there were large displays of native flora - all dried plants - in large glass cases. There was a display of poisonous plants such as p.oak.
When they took down the displays, one of the workers gathered the poison oak (the remains must have been at least 20 years old) and he had contact dermatitis!
