deltoidea as an inner coast ranges species. I can recall seeing Balsam Roots
in flower in the greater Bay Area in late Spring but am not sure if I've see
them in S.C. Co.
Maybe I'll be in a position to tell you if there are records of
Balsamorhiza species in Santa Cruz county in a few weeks. I will be
beta testing Dr. John Kartesz' second edition of a Floristic
Synthesis of North America, with records going down to the county
level and images.
