RE: gardens to see near Montisi?

Hi Nan,

We visited the first one and last two a few years during the 2003 MGS annual meeting near Sienna and they were terrific.  And we visited a Bosche garden done by an American artist that was very creative.

Lots of photos on my Flickr account if you're interested.

Probably the closest:

Castello di Celsa (sw of Siena)
Certosa di Pontignano (just e of Siena)
Palazzo Piccolomini (se of Siena)
Villa Chigi Cetinale (sw of Siena)
Villa la Foce (sw of Chianciano Terme)

Hi all

Can anyone recommend good gardens to visit near Montisi in Tuscany?

Nan
