I have a thunbergia grandiflora planted on the front or my house which is
getting out of control. This rampant vigourous climber flowers
continuously on new shoots, so I don't like to cut it back, but as it is
now blocking the light in the windows I fear its time has come! When
should I cut it back so that I don't lose too much flower? Would now, the
Autumn be a good time or would the Spring be better? Although it has
flowered almost continuously for several years it has never produced a seed
pod - any suggestions why? I live in the Algarve in southern Portugal,
which almost counts as being in the Mediterranean.
