Re: Chile - nurseries, Botanic Gardens?

Dear Diane,
You might consult two people at the Univ. of Calif. (Berkeley) Botanical
Garden who have been to Chile.
They are Martin Grantham, a horticulturist at the Garden, and Sarah
Wikander, a volunteer propagator of vines for the Garden plant sales. Both
have been to the nursery 'El Virgel'.
They can be reached care of UC Botanical Garden, 200 Centennial Drive,
Berkeley, CA 94720-5045.
Martin has an email address: grantham@nature.berkeley.edu
Best wishes,
Elly Bade
