Does anyone use a Wormery for making compost?
I have one which is full of ex-kitchen waste and olive leaves, but how
do I get the compost out without removing/killing all the worms? Would I
do any harm by simply emptying the bin and then turning over the compost
and putting it back?
By the way, it makes quite good quantities of beautiful liquid plant
feed, which is very smelly indeed for about a year. I dilute it 1 to 10
and it seems to be quite effective. Would you wait until it has stopped
smelling before using it or use it as fresh as possible? I haven't
worked out if it makes a difference or not.
