thanks for the poppy info

There were a number of helpful responses sent to my poppy question.
Thanks very much for taking the time to reply.

I saw E. c. maritima at Sierra Azul ( Jeff Rosendale's excellent nursery in
Watsonville, California.) The plants looked similar to those on Point Sur
but were not as prostrate. The flowers were larger, as well. These
differences may be due to better growing conditions or the particular
variety he propagates. Now I'm really curious to see what I get from the
seed I was given on the big rock. It will be wonderful to have found
poppies resistant to powdery mildew.
