If this plant doesn't have bulbils I would say it is probably 
O.corniculata or a close relative. This a very common species, occurring
almost world-wide and was certainly as well-known in Africa where I once
gardened as it is in New Zealand.

It may not have bulbils to spread it, but its seeding is extremely
efficient and it will rapidly begin to take you over, so I would
recommend disposing of it without delay (and NOT into a compost heap).
