When i was looking on the net for info on the Rajapuri variety, i came
across a site that showed a fruit from M. balbisiana with the skin peeled
back, and the fruit was extremely seedy. The seeds were quite large and
there wasnt much pulp. It was quite interesting really. They also had
pictures of some of the varieties grown just for the colors of the
flowers. They were quite pretty (the bracts were a kind of electric pink,
and the flowers were a bright yellow).
Anyway, i'm trying to order from Stokes but they ask for credit cards, and
I dont have one, so I have to do it by check. I asked them about it and
they say i can submit the order and then send the check, but their
ordering system demands a credit card and wont let me proceed.
Moral: ALL mail order companies on the web should have an online form one
can print up for those who dont want to use credit cards, or dont have
one, instead of relying on everyone to have a credit card.
