yeah its a pain those voracious climbers with a total lack of regard for
other
peoples gardens. My neighbour has a rampant morning glory
(Ipomoea indica) that I prune with Roundup.
I completely coverspray the plant right up to the top of the
fence two or three times a year.
It is completely unaffected past the point where the roundup
last touches it and I doubt they even know I spray it.
I couldn't find my Xanthorrhoea after 6 months unchecked growth!
Try the roundup pruning method if you can avoid the plants under the
vine. After a few applications it tends to slow the rate of invasion
over the fence.
