Greek Poppy
Dear Medit-folks,
I am looking for the seed of the "Greek Poppy" that used to be offered
in the J. L. Hudson seed catalog. It was described as being in the
rhoeas/dubium group. It is a beautiful free flowering poppy, with 2"
deep scarlet flowers with black spots at the base,on long stems. The
catalog said the seeds were brought from Greece. Unfortunately , it
rarely sets seed here in California. Maybe, the lack of European honey
bees we have seen in recent years.
Sincerely, Annie Hayes formerly Annie Tsamopoulos
