Michael Barclay, would you please share with us the varieites of
blueberries that you grow and the type of each (northern highbush,
rabbiteye, etc).
Mark Doster reported that he gives his blueberries more water than he does
other plants -- I don't do this. Mine get watered at the most every fourth
day in the hottest part of summer. They are on drip and each plant has two
or three 1 gallon/hr emitters and runs for about 45 min each time. My
plants are also under high shade so they might be a bit more protected than
Mark's. The San Joaquin Valley where he is probably gets somewhat hotter
than my area does in mid summer as well.
Best bet is to try growing them and see how it goes!
