Paul:

There is also John Sutton's `The Gardener's Guide to Growing Salvias', also
from Timber Press. I just reviewed it for the forthcoming Rock Garden
Quarterly (NARGS). It covers more European and Asian Salvias than Betsy's
book. His experience is based on English conditions, with some references
to the south of France as well. There is about only a 40% overlap in
species covered.
