Because I live in Greece, to get different plants I start all
my plants from seeds. Can anyone give me names of companies where I
can order the Salvia seeds I have been reading about? The only seed
catalogue with some variety of Salvia seeds that I have come across is
Thompson & Morgan.
I have a small triangle about 6 feet on the long side.
At the outer edge I have purple Verbena tenuisecta, next to it some Superba Rose
Queen Salvia. While on vacation the weeds grew around the Salvia and held
it up very nicely. I pulled out the weeds and now it flops all over the
place and is the same height as the Verbena. I'd like some more
height. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can plant near it
that will hold it up as nicely as the weeds? I'd like to keep the same
purple color scheme. It has to be something I can grow from seed.
Also I need to know where I can get the seed. Thanks
I think I am USDA 7-8 zone, It sometimes freezes and 2
or three times a winter we may get a day of snow, I can grow a limes if I cover
the tree in the winter. I grow apples, pears, plums, grapes, peaches etc.
in Summer it is around 100 or slightly more. It rains November to April off and
on and in Summer it is hot and dry with no rain and relatively cool
nights. 60 degrees humidity I would appreciate the Sunset equivalent
zone as and am unsure of what zone I am closest too.
