Hi, Susan, I don't know rudbeckia lacinata but I do know R. triloba. I have plenty in my garden (north of Paris) and it's a bit invading and self-seeding everywhere. another point is that you need to stake them for a good behaviour. Apart from this, the flower (yellow with black center) is nice and coming in late summer.
