Try the Midas Touch technique. This requires a cloth glove, rag, or sponge
that you soak in the RoundUp and then grab the onion foliage and run your
hand up and down. BUT you do not want any skin contact with the herbicide
(remember it kills on contact with plants; don't risk absorption through your
skin); I would use a couple layers of surgical gloves.
