This weekend has been so hot we have been thrown into full-blown summer, instead of late spring. I don't have shasta daisies blooming yet, but my May Queens are budded up and irises have started blooming. Most daffodils are past their peak. Hostas are up and all kinds of other plants are as well. I am putting in seeds for an annual bed tomorrow. We have done several weekends of work on our pond, too. We re-did the waterfall after seening one we really loved at the Southern Spring Show in Charlotte back in February. We did have a near tragedy yesterday when one of the side walls caved and rocks and mud went down, too. I had some plants planted too close to the edge and had been watering that area and I guess it was too much. We got the liner pulled back up and the rocks replaced. It could have been alot worse. I want to get on a pond list for advice regarding experiences like this and other stuff...is anyone!
on this list on a good ponders list? Please let me know.
