Thanks Linda Lee and Chris, my son and I are going there
this weekend for a soccer tournament. We plan on checking them out.

Hi Bill,

You should definitely check out Bernheim Arboretum and Research
Forest in Clermont, KY (it's about 20 minutes away):

      http://www.bernheim.org/

They've got about 2000 acres of "formal" collections and another
12,000 acres of research forest. Although their original focus
was more on woody plants (hence the 'arboretum') they've been
trying to branch out into perennials, alpines, and annuals to
   attract visitors throughout the season.

They've been working hard to improve their collections lately, so
there will be a lot of neat stuff showing up as plants leaf out.
For example, they recently imported 100 different varieties and
species of Buddleia from Kew Gardens and will be bringing another
40 in this year. Might be worth visiting in August just to see
   those in flower... :)

Chris
