Gerry,
Yes, I know Nancy Robinson and Lynn Ladd, both residents of Muraville
(Maryville). Great people who have been kind enough to ask me to judge
their daffodil show for the last few years!
Patty,
Plant that Taro/Colocassia up in pots and treat them just like you would
Elephant Ears (Alocasia) or Caladium.
Chris,
I've not had a problem with flower pickers but a couple of years ago I
had a problem that could only be solved with a strong chemical - Cygon.
I wasn't happy about using it and made up a sign that had a big skull and
crossbones at the top, and then read, 'avoid this area, toxic chemical in
use'. I noticed that even the joggers took a wide berth around it and my
neighbors asked what happened. Fear works.

Londa,
If you know daffodils, then you know another member of this list, Nancy
Robinson. She lives close to me, in Muravull (aka Maryville), TN..
Gerry (who lives in East Tenn, so thought everybody know how to pronounce
Loo'avull. Note the strong accent on the Loo, with the avull added
softly,
almost as an afterthought)>>
