I recently attended a short seminar by Richard Eyre of Rich’s Fox Willow
Pines. He put in a large conifer garden near the buildings at the Chicago
Bot Garden. Wonderful man! I see he has that conifer.

Hi,
A little off-topic, but I am in need of a Pinus densiflora
'Umbraculifera.' I am in Southeastern Mass. and am trying to replicate a
planting of the Chicago Botanic Garden. By the way, re skunk cabbage,
you really should see them at Garden in the Woods in Framingham early in
the spring. They actually heat up and melt the surrounding snow.
