That is really encouraging. I have ordered them and am looking forward
to seeing them bloom.

That's true. I have lots of runners but I can't bear to discard them
because they are so beautiful. I have given plants to every gardener I
know. I hope that the doubles are as free with their runners. About the
only plants in my garden that I would call 'thuggish' are lamium and
ajuga. The rest can be removed easily if they come up where they aren't
wanted.
If you are 50 miles north of me, are you in zone 5b? I am about 10
miles north of the lake and I've always thought it was zone 5a, but
I've seen on this list that American zones are numbered differently.
Should I be calling it 'Canadian zone 5a"?
