Slandering salvias or libeling lysimachias, perhaps?
I suppose in this case, if some commercial operation felt it was
being unfairly portrayed.
Michigan Bulb got its fair share of dissing and deservedly so.
There is one operation that is regularly raked over the coals on the
Canna List.
