What do you folks do with all your daylily divisions? What
happens if you don't divide daylilies? Mine never seem to get so big
that it's a problem ... but we moved seven years ago and many of them
haven't been in very many years yet ... This past summer, we put in many
new ones (a mix) and are eagerly awaiting them.
Right now, we're just on the verge of spring coming (instead
of taunting us and spoiling the crocus like it did a few weeks ago). The
daffodils are standing tall but impatient waiting to open (except for
the mini tete-a-tete that are starting to open). The adonis is finished
and so are the reticulata iris, the snowdrops, winter aconite, and the
crocus. The chionodoxa are open and the squills are starting. In the
scree beds, the arabis are beginning and one of the drabas is showing
yellow. The most exciting time is almost here!
