Re: Memo to Mother Nature

I see you moved out to Minnesota, Claire.

We had six inches of snow a week or so ago that stayed on the ground for
almost a week and today its supposed to be 80 or more.

What's that give me-2 days to take wet straw off of 5,000 pots and rake up
1/2 Acer of leaves.
We too have no spring around here-it goes from cold one day to summer the
next and all the spring bulbs will be blooming next week and be done in two
weeks.

The clean up of the Sedum's and Grasses have to wait till the leaves are off
of every thing else-The Hellebores and the Monkshoods and the Pulmonaria and
Tiarelia have first priority since they grow so fast once the weather warms
up.

Nice letter Claire and I sympathies with you-don't over do it the first few
days, unless you are already in good shape, spring can bring a lot of pain.

Paul
