Your spelling is, no doubt, correct. A daylily nut friend who knows breeders
and all sorts of information tells me that there is a group of these very
small plants all bred by the same hybridizer. They are so small and delicate
and surprising to me, bloom all summer, that they are good tucked into rocky
areas. This plant needs very little care. I have a little piece of one
left. The big clump met with a disaster over the winter. I have never seen
any other than the one called Penny's Worth. I do know there are others as I
saw a bunch of them in the rock garden at Kew one spring. Probably need some
specialist catalog. Arrowhead has a bunch of them but you get a very small
plant. Also the descriptions are vague. I wish I lived close to that place,
it must be a great visit.
Gail, I moved this over to the perennial list as there are more hem people
there. Thank you for the link.
