Amber Waves/Phormium

I took another look at Amber Waves today (this is the 2nd yr we have had this
one in the GH where I work) and even moved it about with other foliages but
decided this was one I didn't need. This is not to say I won't have a change
of mind later.
Marge, my experience with Phormium is that it does not get the growth
that is suggested. I find must things stay smaller but I do like to stuff a
variety of plants into a container. I did winter over a Phormium for a couple
of winters and then let it go.
I purchased Midnight Claret (or perhaps the other way around) Heuchera
last year and it has survived the winter. I do like this one however I think
it was Herronswood where I saw an improved MC.
