Well, Don, it's likely that your colder climate and the fact that
it's variegated, which generally means less robust growth, are
keeping it from having visions of world domination. How long have
you had this child? Sometimes, it takes a few years for plants to
build up enough strength to start to exhibit their true natures:-)
