I planted mine in a huge pot at the base of a purple-burgundy phormium and it is gorggggeous. I also planted in the garden mixed in with Heuchera 'Plum Pudding' around and about some Caryopteris. Clear colors do not seem to go well with 'Amber Waves' muted colors do better I have found.
