Gosh Margot, there are a lot of variables in vermiculture that could
account for the death of your worms. Why don't you tell us how & where you
usually keep them, and your zone would be nice to know too.

Does anyone have any idea why my worms are gone? I have had a compost
container for 9 years and the worms have multiplied every year. This year,
when I emptied it out to start anew, there were no worms!!!!!
