My Hepatica is a lavender color. I planted 3 of them about 10 years ago and
they were lovely for awhile, but sort of petered out. They hung in there
but weren't performing or multiplying. I dug them out last year, sold off
the 2 best ones and replanted this little survivor. It's now got good soil,
some sun, and the company of some very happy European Ginger. I think it is
H. nobilis; I believe that is how it was labeled. However, in recent years
I've heard afficianados say there had been a lot of mislabeling, so I can't
be sure. The flower color looks the same as a picture in one of my books.
Do you grow this one or any others?
