Don,

I do not have your specific plant so cannot say…but. The red leaf Anemonella I have fades to green. Still, I have mine in a special spot and have had it for years now.

By the time the blooms fade and begin to go to seed you will have our answer.

Subject: Anemonella with red leaf

Last year a single anemonella appeared with reddish leaves. I made a point of remembering where it was, and this year there are several more.  Unfortunately. I neglected to keep track of how long the red color lasts (I’m pretty sure that it does until the leaves fade).

My point is if any of you are familiar with a cultivar that looks like this. A Google search turned up nothing with these colored leave.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Don M.
