 Mice are very agile and will lick the peanut butter. I always take a
piece of hard salami and pack it into the bait area. Then I let my
husband set it! I can never get those things set without snapping a
finger or something.
         I used to live in a mobile home and have birds with lots of
seeds to entice them. They were a big problem even with six house cats.
I finally just set the traps and reused it over and over. I hate killing
things but I didn't want then contaminating everything.
