Try putting the peanut butter UNDER the little trigger plate. They have to
jam their noses under it to get to the bait.
Also, switch baits occasionally. Bacon (raw) is another sure-fire bait.
Seems mice have different tastes, like everything else. I've had a
horrible mouse year, worst ever, because of the mild Winter. I've caught
well over 50 in my greenhouse.
While cleaning out the blue bird boxes yesterday, I had one of the little
monsters jump on my head while making an escape. I had no idea they'd nest
in a bird box. Fair warning to everyone else.
